ROBAR closed their doors on August 30th so we are searching for an alternative source for the Nickel/Teflon plating. I you have any suggestions, please let us know!
Since the lead time is uncertain, backorders are not being accepted at this time.
The UniqueTek 550 Primer Track Bearing has a 1.4″ extension that supports the primer bar better. This extended support prevents the primer bar from "drooping" and binding while its in the "out" position.
Now Featuring ROBAR® NP3® Plating
Our Primer Track Bearing now features ROBAR® NP3® Plating. NP3® is an electroless nickel-based finish that co-deposits sub-micron particles of PTFE (TEFLON™). This yields a high lubricity and low coefficient of friction. This makes it the slickest primer track bearing there is!
• Laser Cut from Mild Steel
• 1.4″ Longer than OEM Bearing
• ROBAR® NP3® Plated - NEW!
• Simple Drop-in Installation
The UniqueTek 550 Primer Track Bearing is a drop-in replacement for the original Dillon Primer Track Bearing (part #14015) and takes just minutes to install. Fits all 550 press models including the new 550C.
Will NOT fit the primer system of the new XL 750 press.
"I bought the 550 Primer Track Bearing and it works great. Since I installed it, primer insertion is much easier, with no crushed primers." — Robert S. - Renton, WA (4/7/16)
"In my estimation, the primer system causes the most problems on the 550. I loaded 300 today and the primer bar did not jam one time! I believe you have made an improvement. Before long, I'm going to have more invested in your improvements than the original press." — Harvey S. - Santan Valley, AZ (12/22/15)

If You Have a 550, you need this enhancement.I have multiple 550s. Was skeptical that this would be worthwhile, so ordered one to try it out, on the advice of my brother-in-law. Now have one one each of my 550s.
Should be a factory itemI reload a lot and this has been an awesome upgrade. Over 10 thousand cycles and it still looks brand new and my biggest issue, primers is no longer and issue.
What a relief for primer woesThe 550 primer track bearing was more than worth the money, the primer system runs much, much smoother now, it has been on my machine for 6-8 months now with no primer feed problems at all. Thank you very much!!!!!
