This 0.05-Grain Enhanced Electronic Powder Scale bridges the gap between standard 0.1 grain accuracy scales, and high-precision 0.02 grain accuracy scales ... both in performance and price. It has 308 grain capacity with 0.05 grain accuracy. It is very accurate, easy to use and has more features than many scales that cost much more.
The 0.05-Grain Enhanced Electronic Powder Scale has a large, easy to read LCD display with a red backlight for easy reading in low light conditions! It measures in seven weight units including grains and grams, plus it has a advanced parts-counting feature with multiple sample sizes. The weighing platform is designed to automatically center the powder pan over the load cell, ensuring accurate weighing. An Auto OFF feature protects battery life but can be disabled to keep the scale's electronics "warmed up" during a long reloading session.
Two removable, clear hinged covers are included. A low-profile cover (not shown) simply protects the weighing platform when the scale is not in use. The domed cover (pictured) can be closed during weighing to combat air currents.*
* Domed cover may not have sufficient clearance to close over taller powder pans including the Lyman Powder Pal and RCBS Powder Pan/Funnel.
