Light-Load™ Shellplate Illuminator

The Light-Load™ illuminates the shellplate of your Dillon 550 or 650 reloading press. It mounts in the central toolhead hole and shines light directly onto the shellplate so you can more easily see what is happening.

The Light-Load has a bright white LED lamp powered by three AG13 (aka LR44) button cell batteries. It is easily moved from one toolhead to another or one press to another. The photo at the bottom of this page shows the Light-Load installed in the center toolhead hole on a 650 press. On a 650 press, the Light-Load can also be installed in the station #3 die position if a powder check system is not installed.
The Light-Load is roughly the size of a 50-70 Government rifle cartridge. It comes with a keychain and makes a distinctive, as well as functional, pocket light. O-ring seals and a rubberized On/Off switch make the Light-Load waterproof and sealed against gunpowder.
