SIG 220/226 Recoil Buffer

The Long-Awaited SIG 220/226 Recoil Buffer Is Here!
The Buffer Technologies R&D department has created an recoil buffer that functions in this esteemed side arm.
This buffer is a departure from Buffer Technologies' original line of buffers. It was not possible to place a cushioning buffer between the slide and frame like with our other recoil buffers, without making our own guide rod.
This new design includes a stainless steel guide rod with a slide bushing and, of course, a recoil buffer. The guide rod and slide bushing are made from a high carbon stainless steel which has a hardness of 48-52 Rockwell.
As tough as the polymer recoil buffers are, they will eventually need to be replaced. Replacement buffer elements are available from the drop-down menu below. I recommend you buy an additional buffer element when you buy the recoil buffer so you'll have a spare already on hand.
