Designed specifically for shooters using Ruger^® Vacquero^® and Blackhawk^®-style single-action pistols, the SpringKeeper^© secures the gate spring in place to enable easy removal and replacement of the bolt’s pin. To preserve the surface and blued finish of your pistol(s), the SpringKeeper^© is CNC-machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum and is then anodized per MIL-A 8625F, Type II, Class 2 specifications. The custom thumbscrew features a large grip for easy turning and is precision machined from C360 H02 Brass bar stock to ensure that it does not mar the gate spring's surface.

With the cylinder removed, the SpringKeeper^© attaches over the pistol’s frame, and a simple twist of the thumbscrew easily compresses the spring into position and holds it in place for an easy removal of the bolt’s pin and related parts. Installation of the pin and spring is similarly facilitated by use of SpringKeeper^©. No more fumbling!
